Polaire Raising and Lowering Columns

The Polaire Range is our new range of raising and lowering mid-hinged columns.  Allowing the column to be lowered to the ground, the Polaire provides a safe and easy method for maintenance.

These columns have been designed to be installed where access is limited, such as, footpaths, railway stations, etc.  Cannon have designed the Polaire as a two-part, on-site assembly pack, ensuring weight is kept to a minimum. This will allow staff to carry the parts to the installation location easily and safely.

The lowering and raising of the column is simple to use and does not require the additional purchase of expensive hydraulic pump equipment, etc. as the simple attachable kit is supplied with the column.

Each column has, as standard, an internal padlock clasp set inside the door compartment and the simple lowering and raising kit can be stowed within the column if required.

Available in tubular-stepped and octagonal, mild steel and aluminium, these columns are available in heights from 5 to 12 metres.

Our standard finish to of our columns is hot dipped galvanised to BS EN-ISO1461 for mild steel. Alternative finishes are available upon request, for example, painted finishes, anti-poster and anti-graffiti paint, bitumen roots.

Standard sizes in mild steel supplied include -
