Cannon FL Limited are designers and manufacturers of a wide range of specialist street lighting furniture along with structural and architectural designs for local government and contractors across the UK. 

Based in Hertford UK, our engineers using experience and specialised equipment produce products which include feeder pillars, columns, brackets and column doors, brackets, keys and other made-to-order steel fabrications.   

Products fabricated from mild steel are galvanised as standard.  For specific environments we manufacture products in stainless steel and are able to offer a range of additional finishes.  We provide a personal level of service with top quality products with product sales supported with a technical advice service to help lighting and electrical engineers.

Cannon consistently provide top quality products at competitive prices.  To provide this you have to be efficient, so we have invested in the latest computer controlled machinery for cutting, bending, folding and welding.  Drawing details are transferred electronically from 3D PC CAD fields into machine instructions, minimising the scope for human error.

Our CNC plasma cutting machines provide flexibility, from cutting standard blanks for feeder pillars, to one-off artistic designs.  The Tauring ring roller can handle a wide range of sizes of tubes and sections, rolled to different radii.  Add this to CNC brake presses for folding and hydraulic punch press - and the key words are efficiency and flexibility.
